Colette is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^tm professional.  She has earned a MBA degree in International Finance and Business from Hofstra University in 1991 and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Economics from St. John's University in 1983. Colette is an approved NYS Insurance Department instructor and currently teaches insurance to her colleagues for pre-licensing and continuing education requirements.

 As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^tm professional she has developed and implemented investment and tax strategies for corporate and individual clients including but not limited to estate strategies, establishing pension funds, portfolio management, employee benfits, college and retirement planning.with an extensive background  in the Banking industry she has worked and contributed to the various areas of banking including; the Trust and Estate Department of Chemical Bank.  She dealt with their domestic and international clients, to their Consumer Lending Department.  At each stage she has created new products, helped increase profitability and has interacted with consumers, businesses and international clients.  Colette began her career in a Financial Training Program within the retail industry.

Colette has also worked as an Investment Advisor Representative with a Registered Investment Advisor firm on Long Island.   She has also consultanted on this Registered Investment Advisor's Hedge Fund since 2004.  She had brought her experieince and expertise to assist their clients in acheiving financial success.

Colette enjoys helping people and speaks to a variety of groups and organizations about Financial Planning.  Her passion and specialy is in Financial Planning for Women.  She is a member of the Three Village Chamber of Commerce, the Suffulk Country Women's Business Enterprise Coalition, The Women's Financial Group and the PTA Associations of Ward Melville High School, PJ Gelinas Jr. High School and Minnesauke Elementary School.  She enjoys outdoor activiites including cycling and sailing, as well as delving into home improvement projects.  She is an active member in her Gym.  Colette lives with her three children on Long Island.
